Sejarah Bohemian Rhapsody

Lagu Bohemian Rhapsody ini di tulis oleh vokalis Bang Queen, Freddie Mercury pada tahun 1975 dalam albumnya A Night At The Opera. Lagu ini di tulis di rumahnya yang berada di Holland Road, Kensington, London barat. Sang Produser, Roy Thomas Baker menceritakan tentang pembukaan lagu dengan gaya Ballad ini, dia berkata “Dia memainkan permulaan lagunya dengan piano, lalu berhenti dan berkata ‘ Inilah saat bagian opera muncul’

Gitaris Brian May mengatakan bahwa lagu ini sangat menarik dan asli. Menurut May, lagu ini sudah ada dalam pikiran Freddie. Seorang Pemusik, Sheyla Whiteley, mengatakan “Judul akan menarik ideologi musik rock kontemporer, dengan individualisme dan pemusik Bohemian (sebuah gaya hidup yang tidak biasa, biasanya orang yang suka berpikir, termasuk lagu dan artistik.).
Rekaman mulai di Rockfield Studio 1 dekat Monmouth pada tanggal 24 Agustus 1975, setelah latihan 3 minggu di Herefordshire.
